Why I Created The Visible Leader
For a long time, I hid behind my work.
I told myself the quality of my work would speak for itself — and for a while, it did.
But underneath that, I was afraid of being visible.
I worried about judgment.
I didn’t feel “ready.”
I thought sharing my voice or my ideas might make me look self-promotional.
And staying invisible came with a cost.
It held back my creative ambitions, it dimmed my confidence and it kept my bank balance low.
Everything shifted when I did the inner work — the mindset work, the visibility work, the uncomfortable work. I began showing up imperfectly at first, experimenting, learning, and slowly building a version of visibility that felt aligned, authentic and true.
And as I grew, I realised something important:
Nearly every woman who stepped in front of my camera was struggling with the exact same fears.
I’ve photographed hundreds of leaders, executives, consultants and creatives.
I’ve seen brilliant women freeze the moment they’re asked to be seen.
I’ve heard the same quiet worries over and over:
“Who am I to put myself out there?”
“I don’t look like a leader.”
“I’m not good at promoting myself.”
“What will people think?”
Over the past 15 years, my work hasn’t just been taking photos —it’s been helping women see themselves differently.
Rewriting limiting stories.
Building confidence.
Creating a brand that actually reflects who they are.
Along the way, I developed a simple, practical framework that helps women move from:

That framework is what I’m teaching inside The Visible Leader.
